Anette Rose is a fashion designer, not just because she took an education and
then got the skills and ability to carry out her ambitions and designs.
Throughout her childhood she has been used to be involved in creating clothes
together with her mother. Even in needlework in School, she was in front of
changing the designs, so it would be more useful for a girl her age.
Anette's mother, Marianne, encouraged her to participate in needlework
lessons after school, when Anette was 13 years old. In the beginning Anette had
no expectations and was pleasantly surprised, to realize that there were endless
possibilities to create the designs of her dreams. After a few years the
needlework class had made a lot of different clothes, which they were asked to
show off their clothes at local shopping malls and libraries. Anette had created
so much clothes, that some of the other girls had to wear it, so that all the
girls had equal outfits to wear. |

Anette Rose is the second child of Marianne Petersen and Henning Rose, born
on Friday the 13th of October in the year 1978. Anette's parents are still
happily married. Anette's older brother Henrik is a schoolteacher married with
Trine and they have Smilla and Villads. Anette's younger sister Dorte is also a
schoolteacher and lives with her boyfriend Per, going on 11 years together.
Marianne Petersen is a schoolteacher and Henning Rose is a sales consultant.
Every year since 1988 in June, Anette and her whole family, of grandmother
side of her mother, get together. It started when Anette's great grandfather
Jørgen Lassen died in 1986. The family used to meet at the great
grandfathers house in Farup Jutland at Christmas time, so how to stay in touch
after the oldest died. In the 1987 the family meets at an uncle and aunts house,
but the family quickly realized that a normal size house isn’t big enough. After
a long talk they came up with the idea of getting together for a whole weekend
and since a lot of the families had a caravan, they decided to find a camping
site. Now after more than 20 years they still have this wonderful tradition and
generations after generations talk, play and eat together for a whole
weekend. Anette treasures this yearly event very much, of course there have
been times where one or two had to stay away because of an exam, or some has
just been there for one day. Today they are up at 4 generations and about 60-70
people when all are there. |
